Braintree, Essex, UK (November 22, 2021) Global Resale, LLC., an industry-leading technology resell and reverse logistics business – has been presented with the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, in recognition of its European operation in Essex.

The award, announced in April, was presented by the Lord-Lieutenant of Essex, Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst at Global Resale’s European Headquarters on the 18th of November 2021.

Lord-Lieutenant of Essex, Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst said:

“It is a great honour to represent Her Majesty the Queen and present Global Resale with the Queens Award for Enterprise for International Trade. The award is in recognition of the companies extraordinary growth in international trade over the last 3 years and the business is very of the moment as it supports the circular economy. The Queens Award is the highest award that can be won by a United Kingdom business, and is for each and every one at Global Resale.”

The ceremony was attended by company staff, guests and many local esteemed dignitaries including Mr Keith Attwood, DL the Deputy Lieutenant responsible for the Queens Awards in Essex, Councillor Eddie Johnson the Chairman of Essex County Council, Mr Andy Wright, the Chief Executive of Braintree District Council, Councillor Sue Wilson, the Chairman of Braintree District Council and Mr Simon Brice, DL the Deputy Lieutenant and High Sheriff of Essex.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise celebrating the country’s highest company achievements. A small number of businesses are selected annually for their exceptional success in categories of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Developments.

Global Resale has been awarded this prestigious accolade in recognition of its outstanding achievements, with 77 percent year-on-year growth in global sales of refurbished technology product over the last three years.
